Anisa Ashabi is a Seattle-based author and screenwriter whose passion for storytelling was ignited during her childhood on Bainbridge Island, where she crafted imaginative tales alongside her older brother. She earned a BA in Strategic Communication and Journalism from Washington State University, laying the foundation for her career as a writer and creative. In 2022, she published her debut novel, Finding Chaz, since adapted for the screen. Passionate about addressing the deficit of women filmmakers, Anisa is dedicated to showcasing diverse voices and promoting authentic representation in storytelling.
